Guten Tag Bloggers! And Happy Columbus Day!!

Our last day in Europe (sort of…)

Once again we woke up just before 10:00 and hurried to breakfast. After eating we jumped on our computers for a while. We then returned to our rooms and did some chores.

I organized all of my scrap booking stuff and then backed up all of my photos. After a quick shower, during which I treated my feet, we took off for the post office. By the time we left the hostel it was 14:30. A very long morning of chores!

The post office was located inside the train station next to our hostel. I mailed my scrap booking stuff and pictures to my dear Aunt Joyce (get ready for a bunch of stuff in a few weeks Auntie!!). I believe she is going to help me organize it all…Ohh and Mom, if you want the pictures just have your sister send those CD's to you!

Once we had finished at the post office we headed toward downtown. On the way we stopped for a Donner Kebab (different in Germany than the rest of Europe). Once again we visited the old square (the only part of the city not destroyed during WW2) and hung out for a bit. B purchased some post cards and I took some photos…

On our way back to the hostel we stopped for some desert (and a taste of home) at Starbucks. We had a leisurely snack and then returned to our room. It was just after 17:00 when we got back to the hostel.

We spent the next several hours arranging things for our trip to Dubai tomorrow. We sorted out some problems with our hostel and now are staying at a much nicer place for the same price. We then checked our ticket and discovered that we do not leave at 7:00 as we thought but at 20:20! Needless to say, we were shocked…we now have another day in Europe.

For the rest of the evening we are planning on organizing our luggage. We are also going to go through our tickets and make sure that we know our flight times for all future flights.

Auf Wiedersehen Bloggers!
