Last night we were able to stay at The Tent again. We got the last two beds (out of hundreds)! After securing accommodations we headed down to Oktoberfest. While there we had a ½ Meter Brat and nuts for dinner. As we arrived, the beer tents were closing and drunk people were flooding the street. We saw lots of people puking and passing out in the street…As we went to bed we realized that it was the first night not on a train that it has been just the two of us!

This morning we woke up and packed our things up for the third straight day. We lounged around The Tent area until just before 11:30 and then headed for the train station. At 12:30 jumped on a train headed for Zurich, Switzerland.

Our train was totally packed. One of the most crowded yet. Even crazier, there was a large group of Germans that decided to bring Oktoberfest onto the train. They were drinking and singing for most of the five-hour ride. I spent it listening to Harry Potter.

We grabbed some dinner at the Zurich train station and then took the 18:00 train to Interlaken. Once again, I spent the train ride listening to Harry Potter (only 2 hours this time).

Once in Interlaken we walked about a mile through the rain to reach our hostel. It is a very cool place with a fun, social atmosphere. For anyone coming to Europe every hostel on the www.famoushostels.com website is really cool! I grabbed a quick snack and then we relaxed and watched some American Football (Saints vs Panthers).

After a quick shower we both headed to bed (22:30). Our room is very small and not quite as cool as we had hoped. Ohh well…
