Frankfurt, Germany – In Transit
Happy Birthday Dad!
Ohh, I’m glad many of you liked the picture I made of us for the European leg of our journey.
This morning I got up just after 10:00 and woke B up for breakfast. We were both disappointed to find that this mornings breakfast only offered cereal. After eating we showered and packed our things. We then returned to the common area not knowing what to do until our flight.
We surfed the internet for a while and then decided to wander around town. It was another beautiful day in Frankfurt and we just kind of wandered the streets for a while. We then went into a very large shopping area and hung out for most of the afternoon. We sat on the couches and watched football (soccer) on the big screens. We then played on the video game systems at the store. B and I had some fierce FIFA Steet 2 battles!
At around 16:45 we stopped playing and decided to get some food. We went to a restaurant on the top floor of the mall. The view was awesome but the food was not. Even worse, it was quite expensive (pay per 100g). I guess my plate weighed a lot because I paid 9 Euro for a horrible dinner…
We just returned to the hostel and picked up our bags. We will be leaving for the Frankfurt Airport in just a few minutes…
Good Bye Europe!! Here we come Dubai!!
PS - sorry this is short and without pictures but it was not a very exciting day...
